It provides students with an easy way to submit leave requests and track their status, while giving administrators powerful tools to manage and approve applications efficiently.
How long does it take for my leave request to be approved?
Most leave requests are reviewed within 24-48 hours during regular business days. During peak periods such as exam weeks or holidays, processing may take up to 72 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your request has been reviewed.
Is the system available 24/7?
Yes! You can submit leave requests, check status, and access your dashboard 24/7 from any device. However, administrative reviews and approvals typically occur during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

👤 Account Questions

How do I create an account?
Click "Get Started" or "Register" from the homepage. Fill in your full name, student ID, institutional email address, and create a secure password. After submitting, you may need to verify your email address before logging in.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your registered email address, and you'll receive a password reset link. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password. The link is valid for 24 hours.
Can I change my email address?
Yes. Go to Settings/Profile section, update your email address, and save changes. You may need to verify the new email address. Note that you must use your institutional email domain.
How do I update my profile photo?
Navigate to Settings or Profile page, click on your current photo or "Upload Photo" button, select an image from your device (JPG, PNG, max 2MB), and save. Your new photo will appear immediately across the system.

How do I apply for leave?
Login to your account, click "Apply Leave" in the sidebar menu, select your leave type (Sick, Emergency, Family, Personal), choose start and end dates, provide a reason (or use a template), upload supporting documents if required, and click Submit.
What types of documents do I need to upload?
Document requirements vary by leave type: Medical Leave requires a medical certificate (MC), Emergency Leave may require proof of emergency, Family Matters might need official documentation. Accepted formats are PDF, JPG, and PNG with a maximum size of 5MB per file.
How many leave days am I entitled to?
The standard annual leave quota is 12 days per academic year. You can view your current balance, days used, and pending requests on your dashboard. Your institution may have different policies.
Can I cancel a leave request after submitting?
Yes, you can cancel any request with "PENDING" status. Go to your dashboard or Leave History, find the pending request, and click the "Cancel" button. Once approved or rejected, you must contact your administrator for cancellations.
What if my leave request is rejected?
If rejected, you'll receive a notification with admin comments explaining the reason. Review the feedback, address any concerns (such as providing better documentation), and submit a new request if appropriate. Common rejection reasons include insufficient documentation, overlapping dates, or policy violations.
Can I apply for leave on weekends or holidays?
Yes! You can submit leave requests 24/7, including weekends and holidays. However, administrative reviews occur during business hours, so weekend submissions will be processed on the next business day.

How do I become an administrator?
Administrator accounts are created by existing system administrators or during initial system setup. Contact your institution's IT department or system administrator to request admin access. Self-registration as admin is not permitted for security reasons.
How do I approve or reject leave requests?
Login to the admin portal, go to "Manage Leaves", review the request details including dates, reason, and uploaded documents, add your comments if needed, and click either "Approve" or "Reject". The student will be notified immediately via email and dashboard notification.
Can I generate reports?
Yes! Navigate to the Reports section in the admin dashboard to generate comprehensive reports including leave patterns, approval rates, student attendance statistics, and department-wise data. Reports can be exported in PDF or Excel format.

Which browsers are supported?
The system works on all modern browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser for the best experience.
Is the system mobile-friendly?
Absolutely! The system is fully responsive and works seamlessly on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. All features are accessible on mobile devices with optimized touch-friendly interfaces.
Why am I not receiving email notifications?
Check your spam/junk folder first. Verify that your email address is correct in your profile. Add noreply@breyerleave.local to your contacts/safe senders list. If issues persist, contact support.
My document upload is failing. What should I do?
Ensure your file is under 5MB and in PDF, JPG, or PNG format. Check your internet connection. Try a different browser if the issue persists. If the problem continues, compress your file or screenshot large documents and save as images.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password storage (hashing), regular security updates, and strict access controls. Your personal information is protected according to data protection regulations.
